Lab results can vary slightly batch to batch — that’s normal. We follow the industry benchmark of up to ±20% variation from label values for nutrients like protein, fat and carbs. If a batch crosses that threshold, we don’t ship it.
What we check, and why.
Protein Accuracy
Kjeldahl method
Measures the true nitrogen content to calculate the real total protein in every scoop.
So the grams of protein on the label match the grams in the pack.
Amino Acid Profile
HPLC analysis
Confirms the right amounts of every essential amino acid, with no significant batch-to-batch drift.
So each serving delivers the leucine, BCAAs and EAAs your recovery depends on.
Heavy Metals Screening
ICP-MS
Checks for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury.
Poor-quality whey or cocoa can carry dangerous metal traces. Most brands don’t test every batch — we do.
Melamine Spiking
LC-MS/MS
Confirms no melamine has been added to inflate the protein reading.
Melamine fakes high protein. We make sure ours is real.
Microbial Contamination
Plate count + pathogen screening
Tests for Salmonella, E. coli and other food-poisoning bacteria.
So what you shake up is safe to drink.
Aflatoxins Detection
ELISA / HPLC
Detects harmful toxins produced by fungi that can grow on raw ingredients.
Aflatoxins are harmful and invisible — we test to keep them out.
Pesticide Residues
GC-MS / LC-MS multi-residue
Screens for trace pesticide residues across a broad panel.

Is this tested at your own lab?+
No. We don’t mark our own homework. All testing is outsourced to independent labs like Eurofins.
